Tom Delay and 75 minutes of blogging fame

What has Tom been up to lately you ask? Well it appears he has this idea of being a blogger of the people for the people. This is what he has to say at his new tomdelay.com:
The importance of the blogosphere in shaping and motivating the current conservative movement is unquestionable- not only has it served as an important tool in breaking through the liberal MSM clutter but it has helped to keep our elected officials true to principle.

This blog is meant to further the online discussion in the marketplace of ideas.
Eek! Spooky huh? Well his blogging attempt is short lived (75 minutes) after his first post was abruptly removed due to the huge response from his raving fans. His first post went something like this:
I have created this blog in order to provide Americans with a new meeting place where such opinions and viewpoints might be better shared, discussed and debated; a place where conservative and traditionalist Americans might speak truth to power and to one another.

In all honesty, I did not fully realize the impact or potential of the blogosphere until very recently, when Red State gave me the opportunity to post some of my observations in the wake of the recent midterm elections.
Thanks to James he was able to save the post with all 111 comments before it was removed. You may have to wait awhile...the popularity of this post is more than Blogger can handle.

America has spoken!!
